Rooting in Self-Worth is a somatic practice space for embodying internal power and cultivating the energetics of centered integrity as a relational skill. Oftentimes, our relationships can reflect patterns of codependent enmeshment such as fawning, fixing, dominance, submission and more, due to traumatic imprints. When we have been conditioned to shape our worth external of ourselves, our closest relationships and attachments can become sites where we repeat behaviors that harm ourselves or others. This will be a gentle, loving and consensual space to deepen our experience of internal self-worth, better understand the somatic patterns that contribute to self-abandonment, and develop an iterative practice of rooting within our own power.
Participants will leave with:
- a practice for feeling the energetics and embodiment of self-worth
- a resourcing method for when we cannot access our own internal power
- theoretical frameworks for understanding how traumatic imprints show up within the body and how to transform them
